Superdan Well-Hard Bangin' Member Member 3,422 Member For: 17y 5m 3d Gender: Male Location: Perff, WA Posted 04/08/09 05:55 AM Share Posted 04/08/09 05:55 AM Spiced mushroom, corn & noodlesoupPreparation: 15 minutes Cooking: 18 minutesServes: 41 tbs olive oil1 large red onion, cut into thin wedges3 garlic cloves, crushed2 small red chillies, deseeded & finely chopped4 cups vegetable or chicken stock400g cup mushrooms, thinly sliced100g shiitake mushrooms, trimmed2 corn cobs, kernels removed250g fresh Singapore noodles2 tbs kecap manis (soy sauce works fine)1 /3cup coriander leaves1. Heat the oil in a large saucepan over medium-high heat. Add theonion, garlic & chillies & cook, stirring frequently, for 4 minutes oruntil the onion is soft.2. Add the stock, cup & shiitake mushrooms & corn to the pan. Stirwell to combine & bring to the boil over high heat. Reduce heat tomedium & simmer for 10 minutes.3. Add the noodles & kecap manis to the stock mixture. Stir tocombine & cook, stirring occasionally, for 3 minutes or until thenoodles are tender. Remove from heat & stir in the coriander.4. Pastry outta the frezer an laid on the bench.3. Big bowl & mix frozen veg, egg*, pepper, salt + whatever else is in the fridge that could mix. Tonight was a red onion & some feta.*how many eggs depends on how much your making, you want it wet but not runny.4. baking paper on a dish - lay pastry down (gently, maybe blow on its ear), pour some mix on, fold up anyway you see fit. Start to bake the sweet potato & pumpkin 2. 20 mins later start to Fry chicken with garlic, once browned throw in mushrooms3. Cut up all the rest except cherry toms and couscous (I'd like to see that)4. Once baked stuff is done - really dark and well cooked, thrown cherry toms in oven for a few minutes.5. Prepair couscous - if you've never made it before its easy as. Read the pack.6. Big ass bowl, mix it all together and eat. Made a dipping sauce from a store bought bottle with some Macka home made Chili Jam.Macka thought it was orright & Claude said he was heading to Hanoi on the first Jetstar outa brisvegas on Saturday.
