Am sure you eat veins every day and not realise

Haha I know I eat them cos I spit them out when I eat meat pies.

 

Meat pies aren't slow cooked though so you kinda expect there to be chunks.

Those aren't veins - those are tendons

@Puffwagon - those things in your pies aren't veins, they're areseholes

I couldn't find much but it appears you are right. All these years I thought I was getting chunks of artery lol.

 

I guess those hollow bits are the outer part of the tendon or the tendon sheath maybe.

People seem dumbfounded at how much better home made pie or snag is

 

There's only so much of a cow/pig/meat to go round

They use ALL the meat

Nah, I mean once it's in minced/processed as fark form, then who cares if it's got little sinewy bits in them :) chew chew swallow and you're on your way. :)
