Will also have a dyno run to check AFR's ect. Will get it retuned when I have my nizpro valve springs fitted ( end of July ) sorry bout the picture quality! was taken with a phoneKym Edited 01/07/06 09:32 AM by boosted_sa

Just like the WOG cooler which is an excellent design. I think this is a case of bigger might not be better. Not saying it wont work, but PWR should go back to basics of IC design.←What you neglect to take into consideration, is that the bottom 150 mm of this PWR (and APS) core is right in the open mouth of the lower grille opening where the greatest flow of incoming cold air can do its job.The sheer volume of the cooler also provides an immense heatsink, to absorb the temp rise in incoming compressed air. Heat dissipates rapidly throughout the core, and as there is a greater surface area, the ability of incoming air to cool the core is enhanced. There is a need for turbo actuator/waste gate mods though, to maintain good boost control.APS increase the port size of the waste gate, and use a larger swing valve and stonger actuator to provide the complete solution. And believe me, it works. And works well. After spirited driving, you can feel the higher temp on the incoming side of the IC core... and also feel the exit port is stone cold.Bigger is better if it is set up properly and tuned accordingly.tom

I reckon I'll still get the ASE cooler over Trent's PWR.Does anyone else have any thought's on cheap effective air cooling??

Resulting in airflow on the entry tank to be directed along the a higher percentage of the core.Cheers

It's approximately twice as big in volume as the Nizzer unit.Charge temps under sustained load rise by around 20 Deg F over ambient running 16-18psi boost during short bursts of power. It has excellent end tank design so doesn't favour top/bottom half of intercooler for flow either.Cost was around $940 inc GST and freight.
