Due to the fact the tyres are wider its more strain on the hydraulic system.

Every time I take my car in for service Ford tell me that the power searing might sudder for couple 100km because the car has been on the hoist. I noticed it a couple of times but it went away within a day or so! Something to do with the front wheels being off the ground and the power stearing pump need time to recycle the fluid through the system ........phuck knows My car used to knock when doing full-lock turns out of car parks and there was a TSB fix for that, mine got fixed a while back now.
