I make a box that lets you interface the standard controls with after market decks (only Alpine at this stage though).

Although I have been slack with it and haven't got my new design finished.

If all you want is DVD's though, then you can get some decent stand alone DVD players and run it into the AUX input of the factory deck.

It is possible, I read somewhere that you gotta cut the bottom of the tissue box holder and you can slide a deck into there, unfortunately I read this after using bob^ 's method, and had to buy a 2 plug 12v cig lighter from jaycar and install it underneath the deck, a little difficult to get the shifter surround in and out, but apart from that, works a treat

me and a mate will be fitting a dvd head unit under icc with power source still there on the weekend and will be doing a tutorial. I have already done tissue box though so u can do that if you

you need to cut tissue box shelf off, and also the back of the tissue box holder.

You should be left with power source and that side, top, and the right side bit like this shape

______

hehe good pic ay :P that's what u should end up with.

Note: when u cut the back off the tissue box holder, the side that power source is on, will actually fall off.. but it goes back on around the back of power source. You will see when you do it

@ Bob^ - Hey Bob, looks good, I love the finish on the casing around the head unit,

im working on a similar project down there too, I will be fitting a 7" touch screen and

I spoke to autobarn about the "SNB 150 Desert Rose Met", no one seems to know what it is.

:spacecraft: would you be able to provide me with more details about the spray can,

Hey mate - welcome!

There is a few ways to do this... you can run a new amp/speakers etc from the factory ICC, or if you wish you can install a HU...

First you will need to decide which way you want to go?

Most of the guys as you can tell by this topic run Headunits under the ICC in the tissue box area, others have installed amps running from the ICC -> high level inputs on an amp, and others have used line converters...

Let me/us know what you are thinking or doing and I'm sure there will be lots of replies...

Also if you let us know where abouts you are, someone will be able to recommend where to go for some good gear...

How much are you thinking of spending, and what is it you actually want to get out of your setup... (No im not talking about music, but just how far do u want to go?)
