Guest LionHeart Guests Posted 04/12/02 02:15 AM Share Posted 04/12/02 02:15 AM Just got a call from Ford apologising for giving me a wrong date..My car now will not be at the dealers on Frioday and best bet is that I am 15 odd days away as it has yet to go to FPV for the sunroof and Turbo work which takes 10 days apparently.. Add 3 days for PD as I have optioned in a few things with my dealer such as Glazing, leather protection, Alarm, Tint etc (Glazing will look great on Black) and the 15 days is probably a minimum up to 20 days...So based on that...I GIVE UP!!!!! A year ago they were falling over themselves to sell you an AU, but now they seem very nonchalant, almost dont seem to really care. If you pull out of the sale, they will sell it to some other comer in a New York second. Ask them for compensation, or a loaner car if you are wheeless and you get the "sorry we cant do that, its out of our hands"You must be very patient Lionheart. Unlike paint protection it is melted into your cars paint job and takes 7hrs to do..It make the car never need waxing or polishing and also protects it from Tree sap, dust and also the acid in bird sh*tit is also checked every year and has a life time warrenty.. VERY WORTH IT...my dealer after sales market came to the party on that as well as leather care and a few other things at a great price.delivery onme changed again.. got a VERY GOOD CALL from someone at ford who has esculated my car to the highest priority so it may be at the dealer this week..will let you know tomorrow. The demand has caught them a little unawares. Expensive Daewoo can pump out about 25% more cars at the moment. Ford hope to have this rectified within 6 months.
