It takes a big man to post up something like this and I congratulate you for it. Hopefully this serves as a timely reminder for us all on the potential outcomes of the power getting out of control. It only takes a heartbeat and you're there.

I was nearly there myself yesterday. 110kph on the highway, 6th gear. Applied 3/4 throttle and the car broke traction. It could have ended in tears except for luck, I think.

I hope that the car will be back better than ever. :stirthepot:

better to get it done properly than rush it - I also understan - I had wee discussion with the armco at snadown a few weeks ago - look on the bright side - at least you had insurance...
