I went to my local exhaust shop and they gave me a quote on a redback exhaust system. few questions ....Anyone got one of these exhaust systems and what do they think of it?What sort of performance increases should I expect to get from this system.thankscraig Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/26282-redbak-exhaust-system/ Share on other sites

You'll get next to zero performance gain unless you've got an edit or something, and as for the nicer note, just chop the centre muffler. All that really needs doing for most peoples power increase is a hi-flow cat... again only if you have an edit or something of the like. Posted 23/06/06 01:04 PM Share Posted 23/06/06 01:04 PM Bang for your buck mods... yep that is the way to go...My car made over 300rwkw with the full factory exhaust in place... I have since changed just the cat and it now sits at a very comfortable 315rwkw, it has made a best of 324rwkw with this same set up...The cat cost me $290 from Pro Speed Racing who are a forum sponsor and it cost $150 to fit it...Jack Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/26282-redbak-exhaust-system/#findComment-397995 Share on other sites

I just had my cat changed and muffler removed no real differance in seat of the pants feel but sounds like its going somewhere now, tune hopfully next month. $420 bucks with twin 3" tips out the back Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/26282-redbak-exhaust-system/#findComment-398377 Share on other sites
