I didn't do one, and was just stupid on the thing on the road... that's why I ended up selling it, a couple of very close calls and that was enough for me.Jack

Not so sure on the aprilias...just be mindful of the cost if you drop the thing... all that fairing is expensive to repair meaning high insurance cost...Unfortunately most people who learn to ride will put the bike down at some point...This can mean ouch as well as cash... I am saying this from experience...Don't get me wrong - I love my bike, but if I wasn't an experienced rider I am not sure I would be starting out know - particularly given the performance of the car... (around 45HP)I don't think you will be dissapointed especially if your new to riding you won't get bored with either bike for at least 6-12 months. Then you can update to a real bike!!!!Dannopower I not sure about harder to ride than a bigger bike????? It is difficult at first to go fast on them but it's all about corner speed, I know it's a lot harder to keep my R6's wheel on the ground and control the throttle than on my little cbr250rr!!Bikes are sensational fun do not listen to the other guy's and go for it, Just be careful on the road and do track day's to let your speed out, nothing like it IMO

And I have found bike riders are more impressed with my car than I am with their bike when I'm out driving... especially when you go with them on a roll on...Jack
