If you are on your learners mate, you will be sorry to know that the rs250 is not legal for learners, due to the power to weight rule! (more than 150kw per tonne!)I went through the same thing a few years ago, the RS 125 is just too small. Ended up buying a CBR250RR, absolute little cracker of a bike. 190km/h top speed, 19,200rpm redline, all less than 160kg, its harder to ride than most bigger bikes!I bought the Tri colour, see pic. Posted 19/06/06 12:40 PM Share Posted 19/06/06 12:40 PM You will be disappointed if you buy a 4 stroke 250cc bike... And the 2 stroke takes some getting used to. But will be the most rewarding to ride...I had a ZX2R Kawasaki years ago and after a couple of weeks it was boring... especially when my mates were riding around worked RGV's...Get no. 3 or similar... the choice is an easy one... your car is faster than the 4 stroke 250's... even a stock XR6T is faster than them...Have you ridden before Pete?Jack
