I have a manual ute with an 8psi edit, cai no center muffler, regapped plugs and 95K on it.

It needs a custom tune as it isn't always smooth from 3500 to 5800.

Is the surging due to the springs not keeping up their end of the deal or something else (remember 95,000 klms).

I would like to fit larger injectors and get a custom tune, but should I do valve springs as well? I do not drag it or flog it from standstill. I am after smooth effortless torque all the way, but I dont really mind if there are black lines behind my car. I don't want to spend nearly a grand on valve springs if they aren't needed.

Most T's get away without doing valve springs if they only have injectors, edit/unichip, cai and centre muf removed. Mine are fine at the moment at 250+ rwkw, but that said I will definetely be doing them when I get my IC, retune and full exhaust (inc cat).
