I went to take my mates for a thrash in the T and I disabled the TC and when I went to clutch second it would spin at all. I tried turning the car off again and I tried it and nothing. Im turning the TC off but its like its still engaging? I have the 8psi generic map in there and this has never hapened before only today! What could be the problem?

Thanx

Nesh

Is your car Ba or Bf. I know with BF you have to hold the button down for bout 2 secs before it will turn off. With my Ba you can quickly depress the button then its off

Nah its a BA. I turn the car on and I press the button so the light is showing but it still engages. This has never happened to me before. Last week I forgot to turn it off when I started the car and I clutched second and it engaged as it was supposed to then I turned it off and tried it again and it worked, I was skating down the whole street, but today for some reason its not disengaging.

Hi Nesh

I had the same sort of thing happening to mine I took it back to Ford,

They did their thing with it and found a faulty TPS. They also cleaned the front wheel sensors. Apparently they were full of metal fillings.

So in short take it back to Ford they can fix it.
