I had mine gapped to .89 and that was fine when running edit only (250rwkw). Then when I added all the other bits, and the new tune it only managed a best of 260rwkw (a lot better low down torque and power, due to upgraded clutch).. spark plugs were breaking down under load. I've since re-gapped them to .75 and the car seems to be fine (another dyno run will be had when I get Simons revised tune).

As hiddeous said, .75 gives the car some troubles with start up on occasions. usually just try again and it'll start straight up

what plugs you running? don't the XR6T's run iridiums from factory (Motorcraft brand). I don't know what the story is with them, byut according to NGK with there Iridium plugs they come pregapped and are not to be regapped or will damage the iridium electrode (I run them in my EF XR6).

The F6 plugs are set at 0.9 Iridium.. But higher boost will squash the spark.....

Disagree and so will Simon (nizpro) 0.9 is fine is une is up to scratch - 13psi happy with 0.9, starting and idle spot on.
