Ive finally bitten the bullet and bought a CAPA edit. My car is a mk1 auto and on the last dyno day I pulled 200.3rwkw. On the 10 PSI edit how much would I expect at the rear wheels with the car nearly stock?

I have a K+N filter and the wog cooler installed and am wondering when the custom tune is done what the differences will be between the standard CAPA tunes?

in a custom tune can the boost be adjusted?

I wonder if these questions have been asked before?

Hi Mickey,

With the generic tune expect a 20-25rwkw change upward hopfully.

Custom tune on 98oct you should be getting 240-245rwkw.

Add some injectors,exhaust & retune 260-275rwkw.

Waste gate actuator more boost, valve springs 280-300rwkw.

Plentium & remove the heat soak over the top of you engine who knows but it sounds good. :spoton:

Good luck today mate I'll drop in onway to take my son to football.

Muzza.

Edits in, 8psi is running at the moment, keep in mind its an auto, on a standing start when it hit boost in 1st it broke traction. I like it

Too true... try doing it on 20's... I'll have to marry a tyre power pro if I'm to get decent prices when it comes time for new tyres...

mickey_gee glad to see you are on your way with your car, I assume you have the CAPA generic edit? There is 4 slots on the flasher, what other tunes do you get other than the 8psi that you are currently running?

I hope for your sake that the mod bug doesn't bite you as hard as it has me... it's almost sad when 300+rwkw seems slow... I think I need to drive an old magna or something again just to get me back to reality :idunno::spoton:

Enjoy it mate!! Just wait till you mod some more and you start spinning all your way through 2nd... :msm:

congarts on getting the edit.. I swore to myself I would never get more then the edit

like raphoon said.. try the 10 psi map :msm: gap the plugs first :spoton:

after a custom tune, with the cooler and panel filter, I would expect around 250-265rwkw... remove your centre muffler, this will help a little in your quest for power!! Also add a 2nd cai... do them before your custom tune gets done. they are a cheap and effective mod, if you do them the cheap way you should have both for less then $200 :idunno:
