what time will u get down the track with your power buddy

Hey NeedMorePower... remember me from the bottle shop on Thompsons Rd in Bulleen? I won't race it, not interested in racing my car at Calder, I know, girls dick, but I've been once before and broken it, so to me that is just about enough... I don't need to know how quick it would run the quarter mile... it's plenty fast on the street already...

Jack, just buy another two 20's in 9.5" for the rear. Mine fit great! You have to get the guard lips rolled but with 275/30 - 20's on the rear, I have a little more rubber but my car has no respect for it............. The tyre choice is not bad either. I currently have Toyo Proxes T1R's but will go to the Yokohama Advans (same as I have on the front now) next. They are a little exxy but a sensational tyre!

Keep the 20's, just buy a couple more!! :spoton:

Just out of interest F6 what are the tyres worth in 275/30/20? Are they correctly load rated? As that was one of my issues when I first bought them, that there wasn't anything really available in a 20" that was load rated... I agree that the 9.5" rear on the 20" looks sensational, but I just wish I'd bought the same wheel in a 19" now with 9.5" rear...

From memory, my rears were "only" about $480 each however, that was about half price! The Yoko Advans are about $680 each.

Load rating?? No idea. They are Z speed rated so I can visit the NT and wind it out! :spoton:

Nice results Jack.. Glad your happy with the results :)

Shame U won't run the 1/4, the rim choice would suit the 6spd very well!!

Impressive results Jack especially given that it doesn't seem that long ago your car was totally stock.

As for the 1/4 mile I can understand you reluctance to give it another go. Getting traction with your power level goes hand in hand with breaking something.

After all it's not as if anyone could dispute that your driving a 12 sec. street car. :smilielol:
