Does it feel quicker with a full tank.. maybe hook up a boost gauge too.

Prior to racing, the dte was about 50km. I put $10 in and then straight into th track. I bumped into Joe(XRSEX) and he gave me some octane booster on suspicion the car was runnign lean. We only put half the bottle in as the fuel was low, but it made no difference. As soon as the night ended, I went straight out and filled the tank full. Had a few WOT's on the motorway and it didn't seem to be doing the surge/studder. I wanted to do a uey and go for another run down the strip. Anyway, looks like I might end up going back to HPF again, and let them have a tinker.

Rob Hi Rob I was there 2 silver F6 ill make u feel better,I had 2 runs with a record breaking 13.6 & running 330 rwkw only, with a full tank of juice Anyway 1st run I was frying 1st & 2nd then shifted earlly into 3rd next I was drifting in into the other lane.2nd run half pedal thru 1st , 2nd & then taking 3rd up too 4000 rpm before planting it & it still was squeeling. I was running 245 TAs G force ,It was 100% humidty too much due on the track.Iam going again in 2 weeks with slicks. I can see a 13.5 on its way.

You need skill to drive manuals quick. You shouldve waited a few months and gotten the auto instead :laughing:

Na mate its going 2 take practice & good rubber.The take off is very hard not 2 wheel spin my gear changes are to quick if anythig,that night the track was to greasy. Ill try slicks in 2 weeks.CHEERS BB
