When I read the topic I thought all the rumours must have been true, but then was slightly relieved when I started reading but not for long. Hope the wifey is all good. Give her some ing for me buddy They all say at least everyone’s OK, but it’s still a massive inconvenience to get the bloody thing fixed even if you’re not paying for it. At least the utes appear a bit tougher in the back from my own unfortunate experience

Best to do it now while all the details are fresh in her mind.I witnessed an accident about 18 months ago, where a 4 wheel drive ran across my path, but collected the Laser in front of me, and that Laser was written off. Police were called, and I would have expected the 4WD driver to be charged, and I left my name with the Laser driver in case he needed a witness. Twelve months later Metway claims dept in Qld rang me asking for help, as the 4WD driver denied responsibility, and the matter was looking to go to court. I faxed all details to Metway, including diagrams, and Metway later rang me to say that my evidence greatly assisted to win the case. Moral of the story is don't assume that you won't be given a hard time by the other party and in spite of all evidence they deny everything. As for the damage to the car, maybe it's an opportunity to put on a bodykit for something different. I hope it all works out OK, that you don't have too much inconvenience, and your wife recovers OK.Brian

They said the other insurer will pay for public transport though maybe ill look for a cheap thing klike tab did and try it that way... its just not possible to take madison to daycare and go to work on public transport. Will have to rent a car regardless and hope for the best.BCL got me thinking about bodykits etc.... how does the insurer look at getting something else done isntead if I pay for the difference??
