I agree with Bain, she at least needs to get it on record by visiting a doctor and getting an ACC (I am sure Aus has an equivalent) record. This provides a trail for if there are any claims later that are related to the accident. AT worst, she could be checked and fixed to prevent any worse damage from leaving it.

Bummer about the car, that will be out of action for a while.

Ouch :smilielol:

As long as no one was hurt I suppose

she has a sore neck and back but wont go to the doctor.... shes a tough cookie. No serious injuries at all :spoton:

the car can get fixed but it still hurts :smilielol:

Shes not a tough cookie. Shes stupid (sorry to be blunt)

Get it checked out as she may find she has done some damage she doesnt know about. (if you are worried about spending $40 to get an OK from a doctor you can always forward the bill to the person who caused the accident) Especially if she starts getting alot of headaches over the next few months.

As for the boss guy turning up. In most company cars it tells you in a little booklet to deny all accountability because this way they can do a settlement outside of insurance so their premiums dont go up and the driver doesnt get fined.

I hope you guys reported the accident to the police. The driver should be fined for negligent driving.

Thanks for the info bain.... yes she did report it to the police and we went down together to make a statement at the station. Good also to know about the no accoutability claim!!

as for the doctor... she has filled in an incident report and if pain persists she will see a doctor :gooff:

GET HER TO GO TO A DOCTOR AND REPORT ALL INJURIES TO THE COPS!!!!!!!!!

If you dont do it now, and something flares up in the future because of it, you will not have any legs to stand on!!

My wife was T boned in her 1 day old Calais Dunnydore 6 years ago by some chic who ran a red light. My wife never worried about the doctors or third party claim but years later suffers from severe back and neck pain.I would probably get checked out just to be safe. :smilielol:

Good girl :gooff:

It's peace of mind... my dad was rear ended by a bloody big truck in his Mazda 121 metro a few years ago, and he felt alright afterwards but went to the doctor anyway to report the accident and get a checkup, he ended up getting an 80k payout due to the injuries sustained and medical costs (severe bruising turned up 2 days after the accident, stiffness and aching back with that).
