I have been looking at the Hybrid IC also, do you know how much of a power gain you would get running a Hybrid on a stock XRT compared to e.g. a FPV IC???

The pricing is really good & the name behind the product is good so all that's left is the results :spoton:

this thread will be helpful for sure

powerdigger the importer for these coolers claim that they seen a 30rwkw gain by fitment of this ic kit over stock according to thier web page.

this is a curiosity question and nothing I intend on doing but would fitting a cooler such as this one cause overboosting if done without an edit/tune (much like modding the exhaust). I ask because it was mentioned that a 30rwkw gain over std could be achieved (does this mean without tune)? Cheers.

Is your T a MKI or MKII? As I was told that with the MKI you don't need to cut, grid jack :spoton: to install the Hybrid cooler, but the MKII you do? I see that you have done a bit of grinding, cutting, drilling ect.

Cheers.

Its a 1 the only cutting is to the bottom of the thermo fan housing, and a peice of protruding metal from the lower radiator support , that wwas just to ensure that silcone join dosn't rub on it..

If its a good cooler then overboosting will be pretty much guaranteed.

here is the GT spec hybrid IC, but no specs yet but looks same as one below.

There is also mentioned HDi SIR-GT-VD IC

Specially design for direct bolt on to Ford XR6 turbo , 900hp high flow capacity , its vertical flow design make return flow type front mount intercooler system extremely easy. The (TADHTE ) makes high cooling efficiency high flow rate possible and allows minimum pressure drop across the intercooler.

Highly polished end tank ensure the best heat reflection and appearance, moreover, a newer manufacturer technique is adopted in order to reduce the weight by 35%! That provides much of meaningful weight saving in the far front of the chassis.

It is quickest and easiest add on instance power you can get without major modification. Moreover, its direct bolt on design makes engineer certify friendly.
