I have had a look around the CAPA website after reading some positive results about the swaybar upgrades, and noticed they sell whiteline sway bars for BA Falcons, and also rear swaybars for BA utes.

From their website-

Ford

BFF21 BA Front Swaybar, 27mm Dia. $ 143.00

BFF21X BA Front Swaybar, Extra Heavy Duty, 30mm Dia. $ 183.00

BFF21Z BA Front Swaybar, Adjustable, 27mm Dia. $ 258.00

BFF21XZ BA Front Swaybar, Adjustable, 30mm Dia. $ 258.00

BFR42 BA Rear Swaybar, 22mm Dia. $ 183.00

BFR42Z BA Rear Swaybar, Adjustable, 22mm Dia. $ 258.00

BFR58 BA Utility Rear Swaybar, 20mm Dia. $ 183.00

Anti Tramp Kit (Utility Only) $ 65.00

Just Wondering if anyone here has used Whitelinse swaybars in their ute? The sedan guys are raving about them at the moment.

Also the anti tramp kit from Capa for the Diff? Just wondering if for $65 it does anything?

I have got both the whiteline swaybars and the capa anti tramp kit.

Tramp kit helps but all it is is two pieces of flat steel bar with two bolts that clamp the front of the leafs together. restricting movement. Problems is it keeps braking the centre bolt that holds the leafs together.

I've snapped the bolt in three places a couple of times but the bolt can be replaced.

they do help a bit. I have taken them off now.

I have replaced them with a set of anti tramp leaf springs.

They have helped a lot but have also removed them as the ute was a little low with them.

Rear swaybar is great in the ute. Instead of the back end rolling around the corner it is sitting flatter and sliding nicely under acceration.

The only thing I can say about the swaybars is that it would be nice to have a welded fixing to the diff.

Swaybars are highly recommended.

I used a whiteline rear bar in my ute.I would recomend it.It made it more predictable to oversteer, easier to control(on private roads of course).I only fitted rear bar but would say(from previos experience)that fitting front and rear would do wonders for the BA.

Fitting the rear bar seemed to make the lsd work better too IMO.maybe because of weight transfer to the inside rear wheel.

swaybars are always the best value spend for handling IMO.

Heres a pict of the rear sway bar (whiteline)

Looking at the pic, looks like a bloody good idea.where did you get it installed? where did you buy it from?, and how much did it all cost in the end?

wot sizes are you using guys?

with just a rear does it promote oversteer or not?

with a front does it create less understeer or just less roll?
