I'm looking at the Walbro pumps as that seems to be what everyone is using as an in tank replacement.I've seen 2 models numbers that people are putting in there XR6T's:GSS-341GSS-342From what I can find they're both 255L/H.Does anyone know what the difference is between these 2 pumps? What's the going price for these and where's the best place to buy one? Thanks for you help. It comes complete with the pump, small fuel line, and connector for the new fuel pump. Costs around $200 - $220 from memory.I've installed one of these with the new Walbro GSS-294 pump. Fits the factory cradle no problems. Also, the 294 pump is rated at 270l/hr, rather than 255l/hr like the older 341/342 pump.Doing a wiring modification to the car allows the pump to flow and extra 10-15% on top of the rated fuel flow in certain applications.Like BCL said, once you start making over 350rwkw you should consider fitting a swirl pot and a Bosch 044 pump to ensure consistant fuel delivery.Another modification to consider is bypassing the factory fuel pressure regulator and installing a rising rate adjustable reg, such as a Malpassi. Helps increase fuel pressure when running high boost levels. Edited 15/07/06 01:30 AM by M6 XR6T

Slight mod to the wiring required. If doing a ute, god help you getting the caddy out of the tank (very fiddly) but the sedans are quite easy. It's nice and quiet and runs like a dream!I have read that the newer GSS-342 is higher pressure, same volume but at higher pressure.Rob.

If one does I'm guessing it makes it a lot easier to install.
