Jeffrey, Auto F6 aint the quickest at all. It may be the 'best combination' though.. For some.... who can't drive.. M6XR6T prooved this.. Problem is, imo that people ( magazine journos ) just can't drive the manual well enough.. Or they drive it like a traditional clubbie/wrx etc.. uneducated, and unwilling to try something different in terms of technique.I have proven a good tune with very minimal mods can equal an auto with similar power and similar mods. I ran 12.3 on my road tyres with 300rwkw ( 400rwhp) & that's equal to an auto F6 with similar power and the same 60'.. So on a drag strip they are equal imo.. On the road, the auto would be a better everyday car, and does things alot easier with less fuss.. On the track, well, how many autos' make good track cars.. With more power, it becomes harder in the manual I agree, but consider how many auto 'T's there are running 11's with factory driveline, including unmodified auto or factory stall.... not many, if any ahhuh, I dunno anybody ( sorry, you might not get that joke, bit young for ya... ) oh crap, how many manuals are there but anyhoo, it's do-able in a manual..I don't think export is looking at an auto BF either, rather a BA, which drops him into manual trans. There's no way there is any value in getting a Manual T + $20k opposed to a BA F6 if he wants 400rwhp ( 300rwkw ) Sure, the T is great value from a purchase point.. Individuality, well there's a T with mags and gauges @ every corner, but see a stock Foon on the roads, and it still turns heads.... Problem is, the T is more likely to be modded and blow your doors off... I'm sure a BA F6 with a tickle and a carbon bonnet might tickle warm exports' wok, so to speak. Although this isn't an auto V manual thread, it depends on personal choice and what he wants out of a car.. ←Tune? Which tune? I have a dyno sheet of your's in my hand right now....nice boost and afr's I overlayed them against my tune from last week Give the 6-speed auto's a break. The 4-speed auto's have been tearing the 6-speed manuals a new ars*h*le since way back when......it's only a matter of time for the 6-speed auto's to do the same.Bring on September. I'll be keen to see your manual run 4-5 consective mid 11 second passes with no more than 0.03-0.05 second discrepencies between runs. Now where's that charred flamesuite?←1.) Have a look thru my posts. I said the afr's weren't playing the game, but they are pretty much the same as urs u posted last week.2.) The 4 spd auto's have been ripping a$$holes, yep no doubt. Just so happens, I ripped everyones a$$hole on the 31st.................. Show me an auto that's run an 11 @ 115mph. 3.) bring on september, yup.. I have run consistant times every time I have been down. Sept will be no different. What times, I have no-idea.. 4.) I'd like to see your slusher run an 11 with injectors and exhaust.. 12.3 on real streets I'd pay..... 5.) I love the internet.... we all drive 11 second beasts and walk the best tune on our keyboards.. U got that drag tune of mine handy u dud??

I'm sure you missed the e I'm not having a go at the tune you have, it's good and does the job. It's just that I saw peak boost numbers higher than you mentioned in the mid range. Unless of course I overlayed the incorrect dyno runs, but I doubt it, as the date is correct.Yes the AFR's are close to what I tuned my car too, except I didn't go that lean.I think you'll find several members that have run mid/hi 11's @ 114-115mph. A good effort all round 11's with injectors and exhaust only shouldn't be so hard, gramps is already doing it in his yellow camel From memory, your consistant time is 12.2 - 12.3, with 1 only run @ 11.8 Now, back on topic.
