Commiserations comrade..You have been getting the rough end of a pointy stick...

Not some bunch of eco-terrorist dropping valve grinding paste into your oil because of how you have wreaked havoc upon the three horned swamp wallaby?

Lumpy :spoton:

nope,

I never touched a three horned swamp wallaby in my life.

The freckeled arsed gob nobbler...now that's another matter....

Lumpy good to see you back, sounds like your computer is as reliable as my T.

Maybe, just maybe, they aren't fixing the source of the problem. I wouldnt get them to replace the turbo until they can be happy with the amount of lubrication the turbo is getting. If there is a blockage in the oil feed or return lines then the bearing will not get the full amount of lube to keep the temp down. It just doesnt seem right that the turbo isn't withstanding how it is being driven. Look at some people's cars here, they are running high boost and lots of RPM without turbo mods... Does Drif6 have a stock turbo? There's plenty of sustained high RPM there.

There has to be a cause, and I think they are looking in the wrong place.

Dude,

It's a ford dealer. They probably aren't even looking.

"just replace the turbo Timmy... Whats that, you've never done one before? Your a 1st year apprentice? Don't worry, you'll figure it out. The manual is over there..." :spoton:

Unless the WDS can diagnose an oil flow fault - why would they even consider the thought? So much easier to plug another blower on!
