I'd turn up with 27K in cash and wait for the positive reaction. Nothing like 270 $100 notes can talk the talk any better.

Take them both for a drive and see which one you like. I don't think you need to be very smart to work out wich one a turbo forum is going to recomend.

hey just need a little help, I used to own an 04 xr6 na had to sell it to get a house now I traded it in for a courier :kissmy: which I hate, so I now have my house and would like to get rid of the courier for something with a bit more power.

This is where the problem is I cant figure out which one would be better a turbo or an 8, as I do tow a trailer now and then and most of my driving is on a highway, so which one would be better.

and also if you know of any nice cars going cheap in brisbane /surrounding areas let me know.

Easy - Sound=V8 - Power, economy, ease of modding, fun=TURBO

Now where is the difficulty :kissmy:

And the winner, by way of knockout.. XR6 TURBO!! :kissmy:

Depends what you want mate.. if you want an easy car to mod, and go quick, with lotsa grunt.. go the turbo. If you want a nice car to cruise in, with a good exhaust note go the turbo :tease:

If you want something that's slow, doesn't repond well to mods, uses excessive fuel, has too much weight in the front end to upset handling, makes too much noise, less fun ... then by all means chose the the V8. .... really hard choice ... NOT.

I've owned modified Valiant, Ford and C'dore V8's. To compete with the Turbo Ford you've have to stick a blower on the V8.

However, it's now just too easy to mod the Ford T.

Sounds like you never have had a quick one though and atleast you could drive them :kissmy::tease:
