So... they gave me the Sports Leather (swede and leather seats that come in the luxury pack) instead at no extra charge, and through in a momo steering wheel. I prefer these seats, they are more comfortable than the leather ones to me ( I would have thought particularly in hot parts of Aus) - and I prefer the look (even if Chooka doesnt). All NZ XR6Ts and XR8s have premium sound, I would definately tick that one.The actual luxury pack has these seats, the dual climate control (digital buttons instead of manual air controls in a silver facia instead of greyish), and standard with premium sound (relevant in Aus), and a pod mounted clock. If you have a pod mounted clock - would you get a new pod for other gauges? If you do - you have no clock at all (as it isnt displayed on the ICC in lux pack).I like the look of the whole luxury pack. Is it worth the money? not sure. I would get the seats again. In Aus where you use the air con more - I would probably get the whole package.Make sure you get the swede seats coated with a fabric protector, as they will be harder to keep clean than leather - and I reckon than normal fabric. They will not last as long as leather either I reckon.PS - while you are at the options - get the sports steering wheel as well (better than the momo or standard wheels).Edit -if you get cloth seats, you get clothe door trims to match, if you get leather seats, you get a black vinyl looking door trim (too much black for my liking). With the custom pack seats - you get an insert with swede to match the centre of the seats. Edited 09/06/06 09:23 AM by cobrav8

It is far cooler than leather found in other cars and this is despite the fact that it comes only in black. It's is actually an incredibly comfortable material.Mk II's have a rear armrest. BA's have smooth alcantra in the door. BF's have a perforated version. Cars with suede trimmed seats have suede type trim in the door. DaveO Member 250 Member For: 21y 3m 23d Location: City Posted 09/06/06 01:19 PM Share Posted 09/06/06 01:19 PM I'd go the luxury pack as I think the seats look better, hold you better due to the suede inserts and are far more comfortable than the bog standard leather. I'd also recommend finding one with a sports steering wheel or getting a sports steering wheel fitted afterwards. This improves the driving experience immensly. Although the premium stereo that comes with the luxury pack in my opinion is a bit of a rip as the sound quality isnt that good; the Premium ICC with dual climate control is heaps better looking than the taxi pack standard ICC. Very nice photo!←that's what you want to get ←Yes, that's exactly the interior Im after! Is the ICC surround silver of grey, it doesnt look as silver as ghia but not as grey as std T grey surround..I dont care about dual zone CC, however the LOOK of the dash I honestly think is 100x than normal. To find a BF with 6 speed auto and luxury pack not asking the earth; good luck however.. that's an issue also!I think the seats in the lux pack are comfortable, I have full leather now and I like it, most of the time but having owned a car with velour interior its alot warmer and quieter inside honestly.. think these should be a good mix. I'd highly recommend it - Ford might call it luxury, but it adds some essential items that most imports have anyway. The features list is still meagre on the Fairmonst Ghia compared to even a Mazda6. Of course the engine makes up for it in many ways It was the only way I could get Climate Control in the Falcon so the Luxury pack it was.I have had my XR6T Auto with Luxury Pack on order now for 5 weeks.Getting VERY impatient now.
