It already had a full exhaust including dump pipe fitted. It made 244rwkw @ 14psi.After a comprehensive retune including new injector scaling for the new injectors, but running the same boost level as before, power jumped up to 289rwkw.That's a 45rwkw gain from injectors, intercooler and tune.A good result, and another reason why I'm convinced the ASE intercoolers are a good investment. The only intercooler I would use over the ase is the Nizpro(AT this stage). Milz's 11 second dunlop street tyres XR6T has an ASE cooler . Keeping in mind this is only with the ASE coolers, my Nizpro Tube and fin is great for repeatablilty, when we did the recent photo shoot for PSC magazine I was able to show Trevor (Owner and writter for the mag) how little the temps changed allowing it to keep with a couple of rwkw's with 3 runs back to back. Street car in cool climate its correct to assume a tube and fin would be a better option due to less intake restriction, where as for a more race orientated car your looking for a bar and plate. I do recall simon from nizpro saying that he uses a K&J core for his coolers. I do recall simon from nizpro saying that he uses a K&J core for his coolers.←bar and plate in 90+% of cases is the way to go it just needs to be correctly sizedthis is best left to experts for sizing but its not hard to see what they offer and ge something similar!core flows do differ same as eficiancy as such for the budget cooler go the wog cooler you wont beat it period!for medium budget go bar and plate with shorter plumbing like wog cooler no1 or even nizpro kit the rajab will fit this catagory to almostfor those after the ultimate then wog cooler no2 or better again aps phiii cooler or wog cooler no3aps phiii and wog no3 require air cond modsthis is a summary of the coolers I have seen and tested there may be others out soon that may fit the bill Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/26016-intercooler-with-no-cutting-involved/page/4/#findComment-393151 Share on other sites
