My car is coming up to the 6months after the first service & I want them to change my dash because the cover is lifting in a couple of places.

I was worried that they would have to take out windscreen and it was going to be a huge job, having seen yours out it should be easier than I first thought.

thanks for the photo's

Also has any one else had to have there dash pad changed??

Now would be a good time to add more sound dampener while everything is apart. :spoton:

What do you mean apart :nyaah:

It's all back together again :tease:

I actually am going to add more sound dampener, but I will focus on the back end of the car, as I think this is where the majority of the noice comes from.

The front is pretty good.

phat that, any nuts, bolts crews left over?

Nope. all whent back in where they came from.

And no crew left over either :laughing:

It's actually only 9 bolts and screws holding the dash in, so once the wiring is disconnected, the ICC and instrument cluster removed, it's not too bad to get out :spoton:

How much money did you find when you had it apart? :spoton:

You are confusing the dash with the back seat

No money found unfortunately, only going out of the account at the moment

that's the sort of job you get stuck into and are enthusiastic about until the time comes to put it back together. Not the most difficult dash I have seen, the Starion dash is an absolute nightmare.

Good thing is I suppose you aren't dealing with 20 year old plastic which is close to perishing.
