well I started of with a vt commodore, got rid of that because the dealership's service centre kept screwing me around. So traded that in on a MK1 xr6 turbo sedan in blood orange and what an awesome step up.I had that for about 2 years then traded that in on a F6 tornado as I needed a ute more then the sedan and havent looked back since. I think holdens moreso hsv's are largely over priced and recently I was going to go to back to a sedan, I compared a clubsport r8 6.0l against a new bf typhoon and of the top of my head I think I could have nearly fully optioned the typhoon and still been cheaper then the clubby not to mention who wants a 6.0l v8 with pertol prices only going up and up, my family have always bought holdens but after I broke the tradition it looks like more of my family is going to the blue oval.

I've been a mix and match during my driving lifetime:

1984 2.4L Mercury Capri (first car)

1979 Chevy Wagon w/350 stroker

1978 Chevy Nova

1985 Mercury Cougar 2.4L turbo

1987 Ford Thunderbird Turbocoupe 2.4L turbo

1992 Pontiac Sunbird (little 2l buzzbox)

1994 Ford Mustang Cobra

1997 Ford Contour SVT (equiv to Mondeo ST)

2000 Ford Falcon

1989 Ford Falcon (EA..makes a good shop scooter)

2004 Ford Falcon XR6T

2004 FPV F6 - pride and joy 8)

I suppose with that info, I'd say I'm more of a floater. Whoever has the best bang for the buck gets my money in the end (though my family has typically been Ford through and through).

Sh1t.

When my balls dropped I started looking at girls. :fool:

Loved the V8 Late model camira I had as my first car.

These days I go for the best bang for buck. Having said that, the Typhoon is the best car I have owned. :msm:

14 years of driving Holdens/HSV's before taking a "risk" and buying a stock phantom XR6T. As I progressively modified it, that car became everything I ever wanted in a car and made me a Ford Convert.

PASHEN I remember seeing your car for sale on the LS1 forums and that kind of got me even thinking about buying an XR6T, and one of the reasons why I bought a Phantom... what are you driving now?
