I know the Turbo doesn't have an FPV badge, but I think it would have been nice given FPV put the all important finishing touches on our cars.

What do you think?

l would much rather the clean look that Ford has gone for.

l like how the car isnt plastered with XR/FPV badges. There is only the one small discrete turbo badge that l have been thinking of removing also. The car is classy, understated and l like that.

Yeh Mondie but isnt the whole thing to let everyone know its a Turbo.. and not the N/A XR6. The more badges to distinguish it is a Turbo i think the better.. afterall you did pay the premium to have it as a turbo.. :D

Have to agree that the clean look is very classy, nothing clutters up a car like too many overstated badges. I just thought that a small FPV badge would have been nice....perhaps no bigger than a 20 or 50 cent coin, to show its "breed"

As for the turbo badge, I have mixed feeling on that one.

The extrovert in me says leave it there, tell the world you got a turbo.

On the other hand the more conservative side says take it off don't advertise.

Then the devil in me screams TAKE IT OFF, then you can really surprise those less fortunates driving an SS....

The pragmatist also tells me to take it off so that the rotten race of badge souvineers don't "badge" MY car.

I may be stupid.. but is the XR6T considered a "FPV" car?

Strictly speaking the XR range is the pinnacle of the "standard" Ford range in terms of performance - so it's not considered an FPV car.

clearly not otherwise it would have the FPV badge on it and this post probably would not exist :)
