I found that my subs sounded heaps better aswell, I imagine due to some cancellation around 100Hz that would have been going on.

Whats it like with both sides done?

Did the driver's side yesterday, sounds sooooooo much better. I had to turn off LOUDNESS and turn the bass down to make it sound right... makes better bass and full range with both doors finished. Also solved the noise problem by moving the crossovers into the doors... no more alternator noise or annoying ticking.

I was thinking of trying to find a sub the same as the one I already have... might take a while but it will save me some more $... anyone seen a Pioneer TSW1201 for sale??

Are you gonna deaden the boot aswell? I am soon, theres alot of noise coming through from the boot in mine

was thinkin with your box being a little small you could just mount the subs the wrong way around, with the cone facing into the box.. not only does this save you loosing 2L of space from your box from the magnet, but adds 1+L because of the shape of the cone..

just a thought
