Fronts: http://www.mbquart.com/en/produkte/car/dis....php?nr=dsf_216Rears: http://www.eclipse-web.com/integrated/se8375.htmlOnce those are in I will save up for the doof, and I want to do it right the first time so this will take a bit of time and testing. I will probably go a 1000W mono amp like one of these http://www.alpine.com.au/products/images/h...s/MRD-M1005.jpg Subs will be dependant on how they sound, and the guys at Alberts Joondalup are going to let me try a couple out to get the right combination. I will be looking at Type S or Type R Alpines, Eclipse or something else I haven't tried yet... still need to do some research on this one. Bear in mind this is in two pieces with the cut down the middle, to enable you to insert and remove. The top layer (ie the actual floor piece) is 6mm MDF and the side walls are 12mm MDF. I will get the dimensions of the sub box soon, need to re measure it cos I kinda made it to fit... the original dimensions were just a guide. I had them in my 300zx, SPR134A and SPR174A, 5 1/4 and 6 1/2 respectively. And sounded great, but the setup in the XR is different due to the rear speaker size, but I been told you can fit 6 1/2 speakers in the front with a custom bracket/spacer. Just a thought........ I will take pics of the process, its just a case of cutting a template and using some 6mm MDF (which I have plenty of) as a cover, then mount the speaker into the MDF. Mac Daddy Member 103 Member For: 19y 7m 2d Location: brisvegas Posted 14/08/06 12:33 PM Share Posted 14/08/06 12:33 PM it is very easy to do, but in hindsight may I sugest putting the tweeters in the door as they sound way too sharp when mounted in the pillar, I have heard three ba xr6 cars done like this and one with the tweeters mounted in the adaptor panel in the door and it sounded much more natural.Cheers Matt

I considered this as an option also...
