Okay went down to clark rubber to see what they had, I needed something to go between the MDF and the metal floor of the boot. I got some of that rubber MagicGrip stuff that u use to stop things sliding around... cost about 12 bucks a metre.

While I was looking there I noticed they also sell two different grades of vinyl, standard and marine. I had a good look and decided to grab half a metre... this stuff is awesome! See the pics below...

oh I also used some 6mm foam as a lining for the vinyl, just to puff it out a little bit. what do you think?

You will have to use your imagination for these ones, I am still yet to buy the carpet to go but this is a cut-off I had leftover from the sub box...

Okay both sides are done and fit nicely in the car. All I need now is some carpet, and to figure out how I'll be doing the side panels.

If I did the side panels in white vinyl also do you think it would be over the top?

At the very least it would be pretty pimp...maybe some Pink Piping to top it off? :spoton:

Looks good though

At least you're doing it the right way around Steve, If you had the speakers in & working, that boot would never get finished...

"I'll get around to it."

Damn straight

I went and priced up some speakers today, and pretty well decided on them...

MB Quart 6" splits for the front - $349

Eclipse 5x7" 2 ways for rear fill - $150

I have also done the carpet in the back, and it looks damn good :gooff: I still need to finish the tyre well, it needs a strip to go around to hold the bottom piece in place, and the carpet needs to be stuck to that.

To attach the carpet I got some 3M Strong Adhesive in a spray pack... about $30 bucks but sticks like :kissmy: to carpet
