I managed to get the wires behind the deck bundled together so they would not bunch up in a mess but rather slide back into the gaps under the ICC.Here's the organised spaghetti...Head unit going in...And to try and get an idea of what it looks like from the driver's perspective...I tried to get some shots of it in the dark... I wonder if this is the same as floating the wiring? I might have to hook my factory sub back up, then go for a drive to see if there's still a whine. I have a low frequency ticking on the right tweeter and the high frequency alternator noise on both. It's definitely coming through the speaker wire cos it does this even without the head unit connected to the harness...Might need to look at a cap straight from the source, and the low freq ticking I have NFI where its coming from... maybe the tacho??? that would be a square wave wouldn't it? I was driving to work with the radio on not really listening to it cos they only talk crap in the mornings... however I went to wash the windscreen with the washer and the stereo turned off... out cold!! It came back on after I washed the windscreen, so one of the wires I tapped into might not be a proper supply... possibly the "ACC" wire I used I need to re-think. I tapped it into the ICC harness so this might be a wire that is pulled to ground when the w/s washer is activated. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I can actually hear bass from the front of the car now!! And relocating that crossover seems to have fixed the noise problem on the left (I'm yet to complete the right door).
