Hi boys,

I got advice off a member on here about BOV's, which was much appreciated. He recomended a 38mm dual port. So I went into repco today to buy one, and they had the 32mm version on special for $160. Compared to the $500 they wanted for the 38mm, that was pretty cheap. I ended up buying the 32mm. I just wanted to konw if it will be suitable?? I am currently running 8psi, but that will be going up in the future...may be 12-15 psi.

What to you guys think???

Thanks.

Irrelevent now. You already bought it.

But, it should suffice.

My FG runs up to 12-13psi standard and the factory 25mm BOV is fine.

Not really seeing that I have the option of returning it , as long as I have not used.

Thanks anyway.

Hey Guys

Just thought Id chuck my opinion in, cause alot of people are talking about taking off there BOV when there running around 15 psi .I was told and have seen a few cars bend throttle butterflys when this is done just be careful. If you start pulling more boost out of it and u dont have a BOV you can damage the compressor. To much air is being forced through and somthings gotta give watch your seals also make sure there tight.

Just have a quick question regards to the turbosmart kompact bov. As far as I know the dual port bov allows you to adjust the pressure venting to be either plumb back or supersonic. Just wondering for the dual port, if you adjust the all the venting to atmosphere, does it sound as loud as the supersonic one?

Also, I heard that both the dual port and supersonic bov are directly fit to the standard BOV, but the dual port is easier to install as you don't have to block the plumb back hose from the factory unit. Is it correct?

Thanks
