yeah that's how I have mine, did you find that the pipes fit better? I doubt the sound would be much different. I have my valve screwed down so that it opens to just the top of the atmo hole. I dont get much atmo under 2000, but when I give it heaps its loud. Also you can give it WOT upto about 3000 and then clutch in fast and it makes huge noise!!!!  You probably want it screwed looser than mine for an auto though. As for cops......well ford didnt find it when I took it in to be inspected prior to engine replacement under warranty (guzzled oil), cops wont find it so dont worry...even if they hear it.

I thought when u did that u are meant to reverse the BOV. That looks if he has just pulled the hose off

yeah but at the moment there is relatively few XR's with atmo valves and since the XR6 and XR6T look identical I think its justified. Hell what am I thinking, I don't care what the anti-ricers think anyway.
