I.e it's not venting enough excess air.

I change to soft setting with 1 shim and it does the same. Given this was described as a simple change over blow off valve to replace the factory bosch. Is it possible the trumpet and recirc air pipes were put on incorrect spots from the factory? As I simply removed it from the box and fitted it. Its a direct replacement for the factory BOV. It have installed to atmos. It can be changed to plumb back by screwing in a small plate with an allen key. Its much louder than the factory one and its quite funny how much people turn around when the turbo spools up and the BOV vents. I guess it does that when its on 18 psi lol. I am careful around cops not to put the foot down because of the attention

slygary Member 31 Member For: 11y 10m 18d Gender: Male Location: Geelong Posted 17/01/13 05:31 AM Share Posted 17/01/13 05:31 AM I installed mine today. I had to unscrew and swap over the pipe and trumpet for it to fit 100%. Mine came with a little cd to put in the computer and if you read the install and adjust insructions on how to set it up you cant go wrong. I had to install 4 shims for it to have good movement of adjustment.
