Gents

Just wanted to see your opinion on having a sunroof in a ute. Why? cause I want one.

Has anyone done it? Do you regret it? If you have an aftermarket one who do you recommend.

All thoughts are appreciated.

Cheers

I have got one. I think they are great. Makes the ute feel more open. When highway driving the rushing air is alot quiter than when you wind your window down. Looks good. Its a Hollandia which cost me about $1200 fitted and roof re-lined. Its electronic and a good feature is when you turn your car off it closes automatically.

There are buttons on it which you push. First it tilts then it slides back on rails.

I have one in my ute. Best thing I have ever bought. Prestige Sunroofs in Melb do a great job and they give free annual servicing. No leaks just a bit of reverberation when it is open fully so I programmed it to open 3/4 of the way.

Only 1200 bucks hey? wow.. I thought they were like 2500!

im guessing that is prob for a sedan 1 that opens into the roof.

does it make the cabin get hotter because it can get sun straight in?
