Need some help from the brissy guys, We need to shift house due to work changing and need to find another house, whats some good suburbs to look in closeish to the bay and no more than 20 minutes from the airport (on a good run if there is such a thing) south of the airport would be better due to work.

all depends on how much loot you got champ...get your $ range and type this in to realestate.com.au and dont live anywhere that's under your budget. Or just pick all the bay subs out of the refidex and put them on the site, Youll soon find out where the sh*t holes are. Another good one is the police reports for crime in Brisbane suburbs. Shows how many breakins etc or each council area. Pretty helpful

Hope this helps

if your looking near the bay and only 20 mins to the airport, Manly comes to mind (and manly west) :spoton: there are many other bay suburbs but not that close to the airport

I just moved from Brighton on the north side..

Right on the Brighton Sandgate border.

Loved it, Possibly the best place I have lived in ever..

Payed 250 for house right on the bay.. Used to put the hammock on the verandah and sleep outside through summer...

Highly, highly recommended, peaceful / relaxing walk to pubs and restauraunts.... Swim, kayak, fish, sailboard, kite surf, cycle, run dogs and children around on the beach....

I miss it .......

We have around 400k to spend if we dont sell our house in toowoomba, nice houses in manly and brighton are a little out of that range. Birkdale and Capalaba there are some really nice ones but its a little further from the airport.

Or we could give up on the close to the bay/airport idea altogether anf look around forrestlake, but I am a little sketchy about living that close to inala.

look at hemmant... its a highly underrated suburb very close to the city and the airport. There are now some nice, new estates in hemant. Dollar wise its very cheap for been close to city/bay/airport etc :spoton:
