Thanks gents..

Must say thanks to gramps aswell, he has helped with the 'development' of these barges awell.. Appreciate the use of his hoist and workshop the times I have needed it. :spoton:

Just a shame I had to show him how it's done :kissmy:

Well, what's going to happend next season?? I couldn't improve on my time last night as I was booted from the track. ( No S/S Licence )

There's some more in the girl yet..

Awesome run there Ben. Congrats!

Shame I missed it. I got tired of waiting for the tractor to pull out the knob from the sand trap that decided his street car couldn't stop in 650m, and left.

Everyone seemed to be putting together pretty good times last night (sans the bitsash1tty that blew up half track haha).

The turbo lag, as everyone calls it, between gearchanges is the reason why most cant get a good time down the quarter along with getting power to the ground.

A new bar has been set, some tuners can now keep RPM constant during manual gearchanges. Nick is one of these. Well done nick.

Cheers mate.

As soon as the thing launched out of the hole, I knew it would be close. The torque at low rpm is astonishing, it just hauled the big barge out.

Boost down low is good, but when you can launch @ 4500rpm and catapult on the torque wave, it goes a long way to producing a good time.

I'd be keen to get out next season and see what it does. I have had a total of 5 runs on MT's, 3 runs with my own set and I'm still learning how to drive the thing with the different grip level.

and jetute, I didn't run the flat shifto feature, it was pulled because it was taking too much time to set up.. It will only get better when that's sorted!!!

I have no hesitation with some more tweaking and practice, I'll drop her to 11.50's

Did I mention it returns 14.5L/100 on the road and my missus still has no idea it's modified, ( except for the exhaust ) and she drives it now and then, such is the quality of the tune..

11.8 is awesome F6, I'm wondering what this means for other guys about the country running 100+ extra kw's?? I think some manual HSV's would be getting pretty scared off the line now.
