FR33DY you shld make it in the 12's comfortably if the power is correct.thr was a car thr last night with 260rwkw and he did a best of 12.6..has injectors,exhaust & tune by C&V.he cant comment on here at the moment as he cant get access..

Was an awsome night down there and was great to put some names to faces from the forum..

was nothing better than seeing a massive lot of XR's fill the staging lanes.. Awsome sight..

As for the times.. some very impressive numbers but as mentioned above.. Hats off to F6BF for the 12.9 stock as a rock.. that's insane..

rboksic: was that you looking for air at the shell servo??? hope u found some mate.

Saleen: after the long trip home mate did u make it to work on time or come down with a bit of the 'flu' this morning lol

Once again.. awsome night, great to meet a few of you and hopefully we can make it a regular event..

What was the 60' and what tyres were you using? 300rwkw's should be running around 120mph.

I don't think it's helpful to make definate statements like that.

Driver skill has a lot to do with the time as well as car setup and track settings.

Just a question for you Geea.......Just thinking about your remark about 120mph out of 300rwkw and what Steve was saying about experience.

Obviously a statement like this (experience) would apply to somebody like me more then the majority here, seeing as though my T is a manual, and with a 2.3 60ft I think its fair to say that I need a lot more practice before I run a good time. Anyhow, in your opinion, what would you say a manual with 300rwkw should run regarding mph.......I only managed 112mph, 2.3 60ft and et of 13.1 ........ also, that was on street tyres in street trim (ie, nothing taken out, spare tyre and sub box still in boot etc)......oh, before I forget, its a T5, not the T56.

Any info you could post would be much appreciated. Also, if any of you manual guys can post about how you launch your cars, especially if your 60ft is better then mine, that would also be much appreciate.

I'll be honest Dean and say that I'm not sure what sort of mph a 5spd man will run with 300rwkw's. There hasn't been enough manual cars running consistantly to be able to give a good indication. There are also more variations that could affect the time that we still don't know yet.

Some tuners now have the ability to keep the car on boost during gear changes. This means that manuals that can do this will generate higher mph than those that can't. Over in Perth an F6 6spd ran 115mph with 317rwkw's whilst running an 11.8. I think as more tuners get a handle on how to deal with not loosing boost during changes that mph similar to this could be the norm for that sort of power.

As it is with most manuals around 300rwkw's or better so much depends on the driver. I think it will be awhile before we can make similar statements about what power will give what mph in a manual like we can currently do with the auto's.

We could also have the situation where the 6spd auto's are getting different mph to the 4spd. We haven't seen enough times to know how they'll compare.

You don't have to have copious amounts of 1st hand experience to be able to make a judgement based on observations.

I do remember you posting not long ago about how driver skill does make a difference in times and MPH now you seem to ignore that matter of course because it suits you.

I can assume that you have all but forgotten your 12.3 run with 330rwkw in sydney.
