It will be a very imporant tactic to take the shine off the release of the new commodre and to maintain the BF's in the spotlight. All tactics. They have been trying very hard to come up with a smaller rear brake package for the car, a lighter starter motor..and maybe a few more things.I'm going to do some detective work this arvo to see what I can find out. At a guess, theres possibility for side-curtain airbags, more grunt on V8s (5 - 15kw, 30 Nm - fingers crossed for the sake of the BOSS). And yeah, MAYBE cheaper & lighter parts as said above - but doubtfull. There was talk of a 6/6.2 ltr V8, which was canned in the U.S about 3 years ago, and recently resurrected, but we wont see that for at least 2 years. Were really quite lucky with the inline six, it gets so much attention.BF MKII will be it until the new falcon comes in 2008 (18months). We may see a MKIII with colour upgrades, depending on how well (which I think will depend on the economy of the v6's) the VE's will sell.
