I really want to get an exhaust put on my xr6t but I dont really want to spend all that money getting a aps one, but I want a similar gain in performance. Is there any others, or a place that would be good to get one made up in melbourne that anyone knows of?

Thanks Matt

In changing your exhaust what are you actually looking for?

Do you want extra noise? Or are you after extra performance?

If it's the former then just swap out the centre muffler for hotdogs and if it's the latter then do as Adam has said...

Just change the cat. That's where all the restriction is.

What is this mod worth to do?

Just be carefull when changing the cat, my car had issues when I tested various exhaust system with the computer sh*tting itself and dropping power/cutting out ..... If the system is to free flowing you will find your boost will spike (as mine did)

I'm looking for performance, I have thought about swaping the centre muffler but I think I would rather get a full system put in I jus dont want to spend $3000 for an exhaust. How much of a gain am I looking at if I just do the swap and can anything go wrong?

I'm going the X-Force 3.5" full S.S system on mine. Heard great things of it. And apparently it sounds awesome. I know it looks great.

1500 delivered. Bolt on fit, do it myself. Can't complain about that.

I take it that CAT is alot less restrictive than the one they used on the 3" system and if so some details would be nice
