Check your coolant level.Sounds like you may have a leak.Even though it's green normallywhen it dries it leaves a whitish powder stain.A pic would help.

Tabster,

Havent opened her up yet to spill any. Its starting to flake the paint. Also have rusted clips in the tray and slight rust in the lever section of the tailgate. Factory fitted I hear....

Could be a leak though. The last time the clowns changed my radiator over it looked like a magpie was trapped in the engine bay and crapped itself everywhere.

I missed out on the rust - touch wood though :pinch:

Have you washed you engine recently??Whatever it is there seems to be evidence around your power steering reservoir cap that there has been something pooled up around it.Also if you look at the inlet manifold all the white spots indicate something has been sitting on it as well.Your coolant level looks fine though so it's hard to say what it could be.

I would say the water pump O ring is gone and coolant is flicking up and onto the rocker cover. Is the underside of the bonnet stained as well ?

none what so ever on the thermal cover. The temp runs at about 11 to 11.30 at its hottest which is after about 10 min driving
