However, your car is extremely similar to an F6, I know all the F6 owners will pipe up and say that cant compare etc etc, but to me - 90% of the car is the same, and you have already improved performance of your car above the level of an F6.I would have liked to have the option of an F6 when I bought my car, but for almost $20k more - I probably wouldnt have got it. To upgrade now - I certainly wouldnt pay another $40k.10 years ago I spent $40k on a race Cobra, which I still have. I dont use it as much as I did - but it is still there, and I get enjoyment from it. I reckon a toy like this holds its value, and is safer fun (on a racetrack). The car is now worth at least $60k. It also doenst matter if it breaks as much - as I have a reasonably sensible car to drive to work still.Anyway - good luck with what you decide. Sorry to be negative mate but that's not what id do←yeah mate, I know what you're saying.. in regards to the newer shape coming out.. that won't be for a few years, but even so, I have heard that ford will be fitting a smaller turbo to the new range? I don't think I'd be so inclined to upgrade if it was a smaller turbo, or less performance! I want the BF f6, its just a matter of time I think. I'd rather not rush my decision, especially knowing that in a few years time the BF f6 will drop in price, and my T will be paid off.. I suppose that's the sensible way to go.. but stranger things have happened in my life Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/25675-permission-granted/page/4/#findComment-388070 Share on other sites
