I don't know what the Rosso's are like mate.

I've tried the Pirelli P Zero Nero, and found them noisy, not so grippy in the dry and a bit too flexible in the sidewalls.

If the Rosso's are the same, go the Michelin's....

Apparently the Neros are finished as per why the Rossos are cheaper!

I still dont know whether to keep what I have to spend the $1200 in getting something I can trust in the wet and or on cruises :spoton:

Maybe I should just buy a new car with traction stability and LSD, my car has none of those :pinch::nono:

I still think tyres are on the way down in price to, 18 months ago when I was looking they were all in sub $500s for decent brands, must be because theres more and more cars coming out wtih 17 / 18 inch rims, apparently Holdens new VE will have 17s standard which can only mean good things for 17 inch tyre prices and in effect 18s. :pinch:

Had 960 dollars worth of rubber put on my baby just before we took our cruise up to Gingin. They stuck like you wouldn't believe. The 8 was having trouble losing traction :nono:

Pirelli Dragons 235x45x17 on special for 229 a tyre, down from 359 :fishin:

Road noise was reduced by like 150% in comparison to the old crappy dunlop sp whatever they were :innocent:

you would be hard pressed getting anything over the standard 245's as they are only 18x8" rims

I haven't found those problems with my Neros.

Except the noise - doesn't matter what tyres I use - they all scream for help!!:smilielol:

If they ain't, it's 'cos the handbrake is on if you know what I mean.

Rosso's for $360 a tyre is exceptional value - where is that please? as I need tyres too.

What are the Nankang NSII like? Ive only ever had this type of tyre. @ $175 a corner for 245/40/18s. I like being a tight ass because Ive got about 25000kms on them now and the back ones are as bald as my 15 week olds bottem. Ill probably get a new back pair this weekend

Regards

MG

f*ck buying cheap tyres.. They sound good when your buying them, but dont feel to good when your either heading towards a tree at rapid pace or up a gutter.

Id rather spend an extra few hundred and get something that may potential save my life or my passengers, not to mention the fact im fussy and like quiet things.

Bob Jane are doing the Rossos for that price to btw.
