The fluid level does not need to be checked unless leaks or reduced performance are noticed. For further information we recommend you speak to your Authorised Ford Dealer. I don't have the facts at hand however, from memory, MOFOCO recommend the diff oil be changed more often than the engine oil if you are doing a lot of highway driving or high speed stuff.Correct me if I am wrong guys however, most people tend to ignore their diff oil and occasionally check the level. I don't believe the diff oil is included for servicing in the service intervals (I could be wrong here, just going from memory).←Maybe if we worried about the diff oil more often we all wouldnt get so much bloody diff whine.
