Here is my personal best.

Standard Auto and stall with kuhmo ecsta 245/40/18's @20psi.

Here is the kicker...  car dynoed 303 on one dyno, 2 days later 277 on different one.

After having a look at the time slip I'd go with the 277rwkw's.

Sorry exahsix your right but some of the people that do race the 1/4 mile are first timers and it takes allot of getting use to... again your right in regards to reaction times as it should not affect your mph.. but if a person driving the car puts on to much boost and starts wheel spins his time will be affected or even changing gears before boost kicks in and also after boost it will effect there times

Sam, agreed about how much boost to leave off the line with. But let the auto do the changing. That takes another variable out of it. It will change at just the exact time - much better than selecting gears yourself. Select SSS mode but let the auto do the shift.

Steve, what RPM stall do you have?

How does it drive on the street?

It's a 2800 stall converter done with the whole transmission through Autotech.

Drives better than the stock does IMO. I was very suprised that it wasn't sluggish around town. Fuel usage seems to be similar (meaning shocking :spoton: )

Geeseman what was your 60foot with the 12.5??

It was 2.5s (yes, that's crap).

2003 XR6T Auto Sedan

CAI with K&N

HPF & Custom tune

220 rwkw @ 8psi (due to weak valve springs)

centre muffler removed

shell optimax

stock 17 inch xr wheels

Ran at heathcote raceway with around 20 degrees in temp

13.2 was the quickest at 106.2 mph

Had real problems with traction particularly at 2000rpm stalling and then trying to launch. It also spun from 2 gear to third in all my runs. I know the power is down a little bit however it gave me my first low 13 second run and that is all I want in my everyday family car. I'm no rocket in contrast to some of you guys but I'm sure having fun.

that's not a bad time for 220rwkw's. If you had wheelspin in 2nd I'd suggest it was about tyres. Possibly too much pressure. If you have semi decent tyres and drop the pressure to 25psi I think you might even be able to crack a high 12.
