My son just said "merdah" (sp) meaning sh*t in Italian! :useless: I had my old man in tears on the weekend, he's an iatie, he was crapping on about something, and I told my sone to say to him " Tu parlare Merdah" translated, "you talk sh*t", well he walked up and said "Du parle merder' and the old man spat his coffee everywhere. LOL :spoton:

I agree with the others Alex, wouldn't worry too much at this stage. All kids will develop at a different rate and in different ways. Our eldest is now starting to sound half coherent, her younger sister is still at the babbling stage.

But, for example, for ages and ages Olivia insisted on calling a flower "sha". Obviously nobody but us could understand what a "sha" was and, like you with your son and "crab", she inisisted a "sha" was what it was and no amount of coaxing by us was going to change that until she was good and ready! :spoton:

She now says something like "fla va", which is much closer and almost comprehensible to outsiders. Similarly, she called herself "ya ya" for ages, and it's now something like "lee via". I'm assuming she'll improve over time but don't really wanna rush it - her attempts at speech are just too cute!! :useless:

I cannot pronounce the word 'bre@sts'. No matter how hard I try, it still comes out as 'fun bags'!

Should I seek therapy?

Did I mention that I have tourettes....

Why is it hard to say breas*s?

Probably the same reason I could only refer to my ex-wife as 'that biitch'!

You know, you try to say bre@sts but your mind is thinking 'fun bags'......
