After the sale of my Supercharged SV8, I decided to jump the fence and buy a BA XR6T. (Red again, they go faster!!)

After picking the car up on Thursday, I took it straight to G&D for a tickle.

Late Friday arvo the car had a tune flashed in bringing the RWKW from 171 to a modest 223, just in time to run at Heathcote for the AFF day.

First shakedown run was a healthy 13.54 @ 109MPH, 60ft was 2.36.

Second run was a bit more serious with a 13.40 @ 105 MPH, 60ft 2.17.

Third run finished with a 13.23 @ 106MPH, 60ft 2.04.

Then I had a rest to allow the ball and chain to have a crack at it.

She ran a 13.43 @ 105 mph, then a 13.38 at 106mph.

As the air got cooler the times kept coming down with the best for the night being 12.93 @ 108MPH, 60ft 2.02. :sleepystuff:

All in all I was extremely happy with how the car ran, the only mod to the car was the tune, the rest is dead stock factory XR6T.

Regular street tyres used all night too.

Thanks again to G&D for their work that allowed an exceptional result, for less than an hour on the dyno.

Regards,

Chris.

congrats on the time.for just custom tune that is impressive. It looks like the dyno may be a low reader cauz both the b4 and after edit look low and to get a 12.9 with only 223rwkw is extremely good.Do you know how much boost your running now? :sleepystuff::fool:

Well done. What was the best time you got out of your SV8?

So you will need at least the nizpro stage 3 or the APS phase 3 then for 10s!  :spoton:  Sounds like two very mean cars there! What temp was the 12.9 ran at?

It was about 6c damn cold perfect weather for the turboed cars

Yeah tell me about it, last night the phoon was all over the road in first, and when I changed hard enough still sideways in 2nd too :msm: .. that's at 10degrees (Well that's what the ICC read anyway..) At around 28+ degrees, ill be lucky to get wheel spin in first. that's how much difference just that temp makes, we wont discuss how sh*t it drives at 40 degrees...

171rwkw, seems low for a stock car, I know it doesnt matter now though.
