I have noticed that AWC have the best available range. My question to those who have seen and/or used their product, what is the quality like. ie: fit to vehicle, finish prior to paint etc! I only ordered the two legs as I did not want to copy the F6 or start drilling into the bootlid/ spoiler for the middle leg. Note: if you have a BF you need to order a complete F6 spoiler as Ford in their wisdom have now made the rear wing a one piece. So it was a matter of simply unscrewing the old legs off and fitting new ones. Looks great IMO. Anyway their service was great although I had to wait untill after the weekend to receive them due to it being sent POST not express. For the price, I ordered minepre-painted as it was not a whole bodykit. Someone in their wisdom decided to cover the recently painted legs with bubble wrap then glad wrap before shipping! Not a good idea as it was not 100% cured and left rings on the paint work!. A bit of polish removed most of them, but I am a fuss pot - others may have not worried. If you look real real close you also see fine swirl marks from sanding prior to painting. With them on the car you do not see a thing, but if it was a whole wing I would have sent it back.It is the first time I have dealt with them after hearing good things, if I were to do it again I would order without paint finish. So for my first experience with AWC I am reasonably happy - not 100% though. Order them naked, get them painted yourself and you should be happy.Cheers. Take a look at their webpage, the quality speaks for itself. Many other members of AFF have been very happy customers. In my previous XR6 I had ECU and airbox covers, air intake plate and CAI all colour coded. I didnt have any issues with paint matching. Adam and his team done a great job. Adam even fitted it all for me onsite. Have a look at the work Adam has done on his own ute, his people are craftsmen.

It appears that not many from this forum use AWC. They seem to be popular on other sites also with good comments.Looks like I will be placing an order shortly. Guest Guests Posted 21/05/06 02:07 PM Share Posted 21/05/06 02:07 PM Hey mate,Currently on my ute, I have from AWC a BF Tornado front bar, and just recently picked up a XR8 bonnet.According to the workshop I use for all paint and panels work, the frontbar pretty much slots straight in place.XR8 Bonnet, took sometime to properly fit, about four days of mucking around, they did admit that they were flat out but were surprised as to the time it took for the bonnet compared to the front bar.Its all finished now though (still waiting on gas struts for the bonnet), and looks awesome (will post pics asap)Cheers,Darrenps. I'm happy overall with the AWC gear, and would gladly recommend them.

Posted 22/05/06 12:19 AM Share Posted 22/05/06 12:19 AM I have had a lancer vrx spoiler painted the right colour and sent to Tassie cheaper than I could buy a led brake light from mitso dealer down here. Also purchased a two leg GT rear wing and had it painted + fitted and could not be more impressed with the work they do would recomend them to any one.Well done to the team at AWC

I did contact them and they responded with the mould they were using had done a lot of work and they were awaiting a new mould, they did however offer to replace the wing with one from the new mould if I could wait but I had already sold my stock wing so I took it to a fiberglass shop who gave the whole thing a thin coat of resin and sand, cost me extra $80 but I was out of time and AWC also gave me $80 discount on a future item I bought from them. So all good.I can definatly recommend them, even when I did have a problem with one product they were on the phone and in communication several times until resolved. The way it sould be. Cheers AWC

The ford paint barely covers the undercoat and when you get the kit sprayed it will be slightly different, and there was also a problem with static from the fibreglass causing the paint to do funny things when sprayed on.
